EMNantes has established a network of over 40 partners worldwide with whom collaboration has been set up in both teaching and research.. Added to these are around 20 partnerships within the frame of the Groupe des Ecoles des Mines.

The partnerships are of several kinds : Erasmus Socrates partners focused primarily on student exchange with credit transfer ; bi-lateral partnerships whose scope provides opportunities for cooperation in both teaching and research. Within these bilateral partnerships in-depth cooperation has been established with a certain number of “Joint Action Partners” . This collaboration covers a wide range of actions including research collaboration, joint PhD supervision, teacher exchange, student exchange and double degrees.
