Typically, the GIPAD engineer starts as a design and development engineer, evolving rapidly towards project management (project or product manager) or technical expertise (expert consultant, research engineer). The broad spectrum of decision support provides the opportunity to specialize in a particular field of application (finance, logistics, or in a technical specialty (optimization, visualization, decision).
