"During the three months she spent in our office in Melbourne, Alice performed the same tasks as those assigned to our consultants: sample collection, analysis and report writing. It showed that she had all the capabilities needed to fulfill the mission.
Our firm specializes in the analysis of polluted soils. We are approached by individuals as well as by the construction industry. The environmental laws are particularly strict in Australia, they must ensure that the soils on which building is planned are not polluted. We work especially when the lands have historically been used by the chemical or oil industry and are converted into building plots. We conduct water and soil sampling, we analyze the samples and write the corresponding reports for our clients.
Alice is the second student from the Ecole des Mines de Nantes that we have hosted. Environmental and Earth Sciences Co is currently based mainly in Australia and New Zealand, but we already have an office in the UK and we intend to develop further in Europe. Contacts with students of the Ecole des Mines de Nantes that we have hosted for an internship are milestones for the future and also a very real way to discover other cultures. "
