Operator internship


At the end of their first year at EMNantes, students do a production internship working on the shop floor of a factory . During their internship, the students carry out a small study on the factory organization or on a broader theme related to production.

Objectives for the company

  • Enhance its reputation. .

  • Benefit from the student’s fresh approach, analysis and suggestions for improving the work environment and procedures

Objectives for students

  • Discover the reality of work on the shop floor and become aware of the repetitive nature and drudgery of the tasks.

  • Explore, observe and understand the life and human relations.within a company

  • Observe and study the work environment and suggest improvements.

  • Gain insight through contact with company personnel.

Objectives for the school

  • Immerse the students in industry.

  • Give students the unique opportunity to observe the environment from the shop floor

  • Give students a first taste of company life.

Duration:
1 or 2 months between early June and late August, in an industrial company with more than 50 employees
