Projects in companies


Students, in teams of 4, are immersed in a company in or around Nantes over a period of about 12 days. Their task is to make proposals in response to a real need expressed by the company. The company defines the project in consultation with the school. Project supervision is ensured by a tutor from the company A tutor from the school provides methodological input as necessary.

Objectives for the company

  • Provide a project with specific objectives, corresponding to a real need and obtain applicable results.

Examples of topics

Objectives for students

  • Apply their knowledge and expertise to real problems, and integrate a team in a professional environment;

  • Demonstrate their ability to work in teams in real situations:

  • Acquire a good understanding of company organization;

  • Acquire experience that will help build their future career project.

Objectives for the school

  • Assess the ability of the students to apply their knowledge and expertise in real-life situations.

Duration: Approximately 12 days in teams of 4:

  • May-June, during the Common core (cycle de base) 2nd year« Industrial Processes and Processes » project;

  • December and January during the first Graduate School year.« Etude terrain » Junior consultant engineering project.
