Environomical Pathways for Future Energy Services


The SELECT+ (Environomical pathways for future energy services) is a four-year Doctoral programme, with its main goal to identify, test, implement and commercialize highly efficient energy technologies.

This programme combines the indepth fundamental research that is required by academia with the development of innovations that have market potential. With a consortium of 8 core Universities, 6 associated Universities, 7 core Industries and 5 associated Industries, the SELECT+ programme will offer the way to reconcile these two perspectives through multi-disciplinary approaches in which the students work in collaboration with industries.

This Doctoral programme puts equal emphasis to the social, economic, managerial as well as cultural aspects to the development of our PhD candidates.

Programme Description

The SELECT+ Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Programme is with compulsory
mobility among partner universities and industries. Each intake of will
take on the challenge of an overall umbrella project - Project of the Intake,

PhD candidates will have mobility possibilities to both home and second
universities, the outcome will be a joint PhD degree or a double PhD degree.
Around ten (10) doctoral candidates will be accepted into the programme,
with nine PhD projects in the field of engineering sciences and one
PhD project in business and entrepreneurship.

those advanced innovations needed to realize a sustainable path towards
our future energy system.
