Like all the other schools of the Groupe des Ecoles des Mines, EMNantes has a dual mission - teaching AND research. It is impossible to imagine one without the other. In its different fields of excellence, the School carries out high-level academic research with its partners to meet and anticipate the needs of the corporte world. Working in contact with the School’s laboratories, students are trained to meet the latest engineering challenges while at the same time developing the qualities of rigor and perseverance that are the hallmark of a researcher and an engineer: knowing how to approach a problem, explore innovative solutions, test and then implement them. Some students decide to pursue a research orientation with doctoral studies after graduation.
