Assistants
The assistants are there to welcome you and help you settle in.
They can help with language practice and games, learning student slang, and give you tips on studying in France.
They are also on hand to help with administrative papers, or just for a chat if you’re a bit lonely. In the evenings and weekends, they help you set up sports activities, organise trips, and parties.
What they say...
"During the FSS, I was coordinator and it was really great. I had the opportunity to meet foreign students from all around the world, to learn a lot about their cultures. I was responsible for helping students as they moved in and then I organised activities, trips... and of course parties! It was for all of us an unforgettable summer." Aurélien
Working at Ecole des Mines in Nantes during summer was really interesting. My job was to welcome international students to France and helped them settle in. It was great to show them the French way of like and we explored the French countryside every weekend. Every week, the students had to prepare an oral presentation in French and it was our job to help them do so. While I was there, I worked with an amazing team of assistants and teachers. Marie
